★★★★★3/5
ACAB: La Serie tries to tackle some heavy themes, but does it hit the mark? The show dives into the chaos that follows a protest and the strain it puts on a riot squad, but at times it feels like it’s trying too hard to be gritty. The characters are relatable, yet some come off as one-dimensional, which can be frustrating. While the tension is palpable, there are moments when the pacing drags, leaving you wondering if it could have been more impactful. If you’re looking for a series that reflects the complexities of law enforcement, it’s worth a watch, but don’t expect a perfectly polished narrative.
