Adelaide Crows AFL Live Stream and Free to Air TV Guide

Adelaide Crows

The Adelaide Football Club, otherwise known as the Crows, were established in 1990 making them one of the league’s youngest teams. They debuted in the AFL a year prior to their home state rivals Port Adelaide. The Crows won back to back premierships in 1997 and 1998, but haven’t seen a Grand Final since their traumatic loss to the Richmond Tigers in 2017. Unfortunately, the Crows are having a rough year and look unlikely to whip back into shape before the 2021 season ends.

With the team’s huge legacy of greats, the current side of Crows players has big shoes to fill. The immediate players that come to mind are future hall of famers Eddie Betts, Bryce Gibbs and Brownlow Medalist Patrick Dangerfield. There are big names at Adelaide currently with the likes of Taylor ‘Tex’ Walker, Rory Sloane, Darcy Fogharty, and Matt Crouch. The Crows have a very long way to go, and hopefully, they can turn things around.

2021 Adelaide Crows Preview

Starting with a club low 0-13 win/loss record, Matthew Nicks lacked the ability to lift the Crows from ruin, sadly so soon after a glorious AFL finals run. The club has not been a favourite for some time and with Nicks showing little success at both previous clubs Port Adelaide and GWS Giants, it may be some time before the Crows spread their wings and fly again.

Their wins seem to be almost exclusive to Adelaide Oval with some shock victories over the Melbourne Demons and 2020 premiership runners up, the Geelong Cats. The remainder of their games hold fairly dull results, occasionally gaining a leg up over fellow bottom teams like North Melbourne. The Crows have a scary last few weeks against premiership favourites Western Bulldogs and Melbourne Demons, but if the past is anything to go off of, they may be victorious.

Despite poor performance, the team does have a list of solid players. Adelaide’s roster of course has the likes of diehard Goalkicker like Taylor Walker and captain Rory Sloane having a legacy career already. Hopefully, the Crows can salvage the last few weeks of their season and start next year’s campaign in a better manner.
