Foxtel Now has not been replaced. Foxtel still sells it under that name as a streaming-only way to get its channels without a box or dish: Starter is $35 a month, Sports + Movies is $84 and Ultimate is $104. New customers get a 10-day free trial, then the bundle's monthly price. It suits the Ultimate offer or Foxtel shows you cannot get elsewhere. If sport is your main reason, compare it with Kayo and Stan Sport in the table below, and note that Foxtel Now cannot buy Main Event pay-per-view fights.

Prices and offers checked on 2 November 2026.

Is Foxtel Now still available?

Yes. Foxtel's site still has a Foxtel Now section with its own sign-up page, bundles, support pages and login, and Foxtel's own page calls Foxtel Now a separate standalone subscription that needs no set-top box. The Foxtel app is its streaming app on phones, tablets and computers. Foxtel Now has not been folded into Hubbl, BINGE or Kayo: BINGE and Kayo share a Hubbl account, while Foxtel Now keeps its own login. New Foxtel Now terms start on 1 November, and the TVSN channel closes on 15 November.

Plans and prices

BundleA monthLive channelsWhat is in it
Starter$3535Foxtel Originals, drama, lifestyle, reality, news
Sports + Movies$84Over 40Starter, plus over 50 sports live, 24/7 sports channels and movies on demand
Ultimate$104Over 50Everything, plus docos and kids

These are the standard prices on Foxtel's page on 2 November 2026. Archive copies of the page from 1 June, 10 August and 25 September show the same prices, and Foxtel does not publish a start date for them. Foxtel has been alternating a 12-month offer for new and reactivating customers between Ultimate and Sports + Movies about every two months. The current one is Ultimate at $65 a month for 12 months for customers who join by 28 December 2026, after which the standard price applies, currently $104. In late September Sports + Movies was $58 until 27 October. Foxtel says the offer is not available to Telstra-billed customers or together with any other offer, and that it ends if you downgrade during the 12 months.

What you get

  • Shows: Foxtel Originals, drama, lifestyle and reality on Starter, movies on demand with Sports + Movies, and docos and kids with Ultimate. Foxtel's pages feature Outlander season 8, Yaga, Shameless, Colin From Accounts, All Her Fault and Mr Inbetween.
  • Sport: every golf major, NBA, NBL, AFL, NRL, Formula 1, Supercars and MotoGP, according to Foxtel. Foxtel Group says Foxtel and Kayo show every AFL and NRL home-and-away game with no ad breaks during play. Fox Sports' netball coverage ended on 28 October.
  • Streams: register up to five devices and watch two at once.
  • Quality: up to 1080p on demand and, according to Foxtel's FAQ, up to 720p on live TV, with standard definition over mobile data. Foxtel also lists select sport in 4K on the Sports + Movies and Ultimate bundles, on a compatible device with 25Mbps.
  • Devices: Apple TV, Chromecast Ultra or later, Google TV, recent Samsung, LG and Hisense TVs, selected Android TVs, PlayStation 4, and phones, tablets and computers through the Foxtel app.
  • Ads: Foxtel does not say how many ad breaks Foxtel Now has, so we have not stated either way.
  • Not included: Main Event pay-per-view fights.

Free trial terms

New customers get 10 days free on any bundle, once per customer. Foxtel's FAQ says the trial cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, although its Ultimate offer says new customers start with the 10-day trial, so check at sign-up. After the trial you stay on the bundle you chose, and Foxtel Now bills monthly in advance from the day after the trial ends. You can add or remove packs or cancel in My Account, and Foxtel lists no lock-in. You can start the trial on Foxtel Now's website.

Frequently asked questions

Is Foxtel Now still available in 2026?

Yes. Foxtel still sells Foxtel Now under that name at foxtel.com.au/now, with Starter at $35, Sports + Movies at $84 and Ultimate at $104 a month. It has its own login and billing, and the Foxtel app is its streaming app on phones, tablets and computers.

How much does Foxtel Now cost?

Starter is $35 a month, Sports + Movies is $84 and Ultimate is $104. New and reactivating customers who are not billed through Telstra can get the Ultimate bundle for $65 a month for 12 months if they join by 28 December 2026, and the standard price, currently $104, applies after that.

Does Foxtel Now have a free trial?

Yes, 10 days on any bundle for new customers, once per customer. Foxtel's FAQ says the trial cannot be used with another offer, but its Ultimate offer says new customers start with the 10-day trial, so check at sign-up.

Can I watch Main Event pay-per-view on Foxtel Now?

No. Foxtel says Main Event fights such as UFC 334 can be watched on Kayo or a Foxtel iQ box, but not through Foxtel Go or Foxtel Now.

What is the difference between Foxtel Now and the Foxtel app?

Foxtel Now is the streaming subscription. The Foxtel app is the app used to watch it on phones, tablets and computers, and it is also the companion app for Foxtel iQ box customers.
