The documentary pulls no punches when showcasing the realities of brain and spinal operations, which can be both gripping and, at times, overwhelming. The stories of the patients are incredibly moving, but I found that the film occasionally gets bogged down in technical jargon. While it’s fascinating to see the surgical process, I wished for more focus on the emotional journeys of the individuals involved rather than just the procedures. The direction is competent, but it lacks a certain flair that could have made the storytelling more compelling. All in all, if you’re interested in medicine and don’t mind a bit of blood, you’ll find value in this documentary, but it might not be everyone’s cup of tea. Show less
