The premise is intriguing: a group of filmmakers get caught in a deadly situation while shooting an adult film in rural Texas. It's a great setup, and the tension is palpable at times. However, I felt that the pacing dragged in parts, and some characters were underdeveloped, which made it hard to fully invest in their fates. Mia Goth shines in her role, bringing a unique energy to the film, but I wished other characters had been given the same depth. The film does have its scares and some genuinely shocking moments, but they sometimes felt overshadowed by the self-indulgence of the storyline.
