★★★★★4/5
Tiana's Bayou Adventure | Disneyland Resort is a celebration of nostalgia and innovation, expertly intertwining the rich culture of New Orleans with Disney's signature storytelling. The film follows Princess Tiana and her beloved friends on a water ride filled with vibrant visuals and infectious music. The character arcs are well-developed, particularly Tiana's, who embodies resilience and joy. The direction is commendable, maintaining a lively pace that keeps the audience engaged throughout. While the 50-foot drop adds a thrilling element, the overall experience is family-friendly and suitable for all ages. This film is a worthy tribute to Disneyland's 70th celebration, leaving audiences with a sense of joy and wonder.

★★★★★3/5
Tiana's Bayou Adventure | Disneyland Resort presents a fun ride through the bayou, but it feels a bit like a rehash of familiar Disney themes. Sure, the music is catchy, and the animation is bright and colourful, but there's a sense of predictability that dampens the excitement. The characters, while charming, seemed to lack the depth that could have made the emotional moments resonate more. The ride's thrilling drop is a nice touch, yet it doesn't quite save the film from feeling somewhat formulaic. For die-hard Disney fans, it’s enjoyable, but it's not going to break new ground in storytelling. It's a pleasant experience, but perhaps not a must-see.
