★★★★★4/5
The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie is a charming revival of the beloved franchise, directed by Peter Browngardt. The plot cleverly intertwines classic slapstick comedy with a modern narrative about friendship and heroism. Porky and Daffy's dynamic is as entertaining as ever, showcasing their contrasting personalities amidst a chaotic alien invasion. The animation quality is vibrant and reminiscent of the original series, capturing the whimsical essence of Looney Tunes. While the storyline may not break new ground, it offers a nostalgic experience that resonates with both younger viewers and long-time fans. Overall, this film is an enjoyable romp filled with laughter and heart, making it a solid choice for family viewing.

★★★★★3/5
The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie is a mixed bag of laughs and nostalgia. While it brings back the iconic duo of Porky and Daffy, the film often feels like a rehash of familiar tropes. Sure, the slapstick humour is there, and there are plenty of goofy moments to chuckle at, but it sometimes lacks the sharp wit that made the original shorts so memorable. The alien plot feels a bit tired, and while kids will likely enjoy the bright animation and silly antics, adults might find themselves yearning for a bit more depth. Overall, it's a fun watch for families, but it may not leave a lasting impression.
