★★★★★3/5
The Astrid Experience takes us on a whirlwind tour of Los Angeles through the eyes of two contrasting characters. While the premise is intriguing, the film sometimes feels like it tries too hard to be whimsical, which can detract from the serious undertones of recovery and growth. The chemistry between the leads is palpable, yet there are moments when the plot meanders, leaving some scenes feeling stretched. Despite this, the film does offer genuine moments of connection that shine through. It's an enjoyable watch if you're in the mood for a light-hearted adventure, but it may not leave a lasting impression.
