'Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol' is a delightful addition to the festive film canon. Directed by Shane Zalvin, this charming tale follows our favourite elves, Lanny and Wayne, as they scramble to fix a series of holiday blunders. The animation is visually stunning, with a bright colour palette that captures the magic of Christmas beautifully. The humour is sharp, and the character dynamics between the anxious Wayne and the optimistic Lanny create a delightful balance. While the plot may feel familiar, it is the warmth and wit that truly elevate this film, making it a must-watch for families this holiday season.

★★★★★3.5/5
'Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol' offers a festive romp through the world of Christmas elves, but it occasionally stumbles under the weight of its own jollity. While the animation is undeniably appealing and the voice performances are engaging, the plot feels a tad predictable. Shane Zalvin's direction brings moments of genuine humour, especially in the interactions between Lanny and Wayne, but some scenes may drag for adult viewers. Nonetheless, the film successfully delivers a heartwarming message about teamwork and the spirit of Christmas, making it an enjoyable watch for younger audiences and families seeking festive entertainment.
