★★★★★4/5
I.S.S. stands as a compelling entry in the science fiction genre, exploring the intricate dynamics of human relationships set against the backdrop of space. Directed with a keen eye for tension, the film captures the essence of what it means to be isolated yet interconnected in a high-stakes environment. The performances from the ensemble cast are particularly noteworthy, with each actor portraying the psychological strain of their characters convincingly. The narrative builds gradually, drawing viewers into the emotional turmoil faced by the astronauts as they grapple with orders from Earth that threaten their very survival. While some may find the pacing slow in parts, the payoff is a thought-provoking exploration of loyalty and morality. Overall, I.S.S. is an engaging watch for those who appreciate a blend of drama and science fiction.

★★★★★3/5
I.S.S. tries to tackle big themes about conflict and survival but ends up feeling a bit familiar. Set on the International Space Station, it has the potential for high drama, but at times it feels like it’s treading water. The performances are solid, especially from the leads, who portray the weight of their decisions effectively. However, the script occasionally falls into clichés, which detracts from the overall impact. The film's atmosphere is tense, and there are moments that genuinely hold your breath, but it doesn't quite reach the heights of its predecessors in the genre. If you're in the mood for a space thriller with some moral dilemmas, it’s worth a watch, but don’t expect anything groundbreaking.
