The film kicks off with a bang—literally—with Hook's violent past, and it keeps the tension simmering as Lily uncovers her father's dark secrets. The performances are decent, but at times the characters feel a bit one-dimensional. I found myself wanting more depth, especially from Hook and Lily. The direction by Catinella has its moments of brilliance, but the pacing can feel uneven, dragging in places where it should captivate. It’s definitely not for the faint-hearted with its horror elements, and while I appreciate the ambition, it doesn’t quite hit the mark for me.
