The visual effects are impressive, bringing the supernatural elements to life in a way that feels both modern and respectful of the franchise's roots. ★★★★★3/5
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is a mixed bag that might leave some fans feeling a bit cold. While it brings back the charm of the original films and features some delightful moments, the plot occasionally feels predictable and lacks the punch of its predecessors. The performances are solid, but at times, they are overshadowed by a reliance on nostalgia rather than innovation. The comedic elements work well, but the film struggles to find a consistent tone, oscillating between light-hearted fun and moments that feel more serious. Despite its flaws, there are enough laughs and supernatural thrills to keep viewers entertained. It’s a decent addition to the franchise, but it may not fully satisfy those hoping for a new classic.
