★★★★★3/5
El silencio de Marcos Tremmer offers an intriguing premise, but it sometimes feels like it doesn’t fully realise its potential. The story of Marcos, a publicist faced with a terminal diagnosis, is certainly compelling and relatable. However, the pacing can drag at times, leading to moments that feel overly drawn out. While the performances are solid, particularly from the lead, the emotional impact doesn’t always hit as hard as one might hope. The film does have its touching moments and beautiful cinematography that captures the essence of Madrid. Ultimately, while it has its flaws, El silencio de Marcos Tremmer could resonate with those who appreciate character-driven narratives about love and loss.
