The idea of two friends being hunted by a prehistoric creature in a ghost town sounds fantastic, right? Unfortunately, the execution leaves much to be desired. The pacing is uneven, and what could have been heart-pounding moments often feel drawn out. The characters are underdeveloped, making it hard to care about their survival. Sure, there are some jump scares, but they feel more like cheap tricks than genuine thrills. The creature design is decent, but it doesn’t save the film from its lacklustre storytelling.
