★★★★★4/5
嘆きの亡霊は引退したい is a charming exploration of friendship and self-discovery, deftly balancing humour and heartfelt moments. Krai Andrey, portrayed with a delightful mix of vulnerability and comic timing, serves as a relatable protagonist who embodies the struggles of many young adults caught between expectations and self-doubt. The film's direction maintains a brisk pace, ensuring that the audience remains engaged throughout Krai's reluctant journey towards embracing his role as a leader. The vibrant animation and whimsical design choices enhance the overall experience, immersing viewers in a lively world of adventure. While the plot may tread familiar ground, the film excels in its character development and emotional depth, making it a compelling watch for both children and adults alike.

★★★★★3/5
嘆きの亡霊は引退したい is a mixed bag, offering plenty of laughs and a few touching moments, but it doesn't quite hit the mark in terms of originality. Krai Andrey's journey from reluctant hero to somewhat competent leader is a familiar trope that might not resonate with everyone. The film shines in its comedic timing and the dynamic between Krai and his friends, allowing for some genuinely funny moments. However, the pacing occasionally falters, leaving some scenes feeling drawn out. The animation is vibrant and engaging, but the story lacks the depth that would elevate it from a simple adventure tale. If you're looking for a light-hearted film to enjoy with family, this one will do the trick, but don't expect anything groundbreaking.
