★★★★★3/5
In らんま1/2, we step into a world where martial arts meets magical transformations, and while the premise is undeniably fun, the execution can feel a bit uneven at times. The film starts strong with its quirky humour and charming characters, but as it progresses, the plot sometimes meanders, leaving viewers wanting more depth. Ranma's struggle with his identity is relatable, yet the film occasionally relies too heavily on slapstick comedy. The animation is vibrant, capturing the essence of the original series, but it may not resonate with those unfamiliar with the source material. In conclusion, らんま1/2 is an enjoyable romp for fans, but it may leave others feeling a bit perplexed by its whimsical narrative.
