April 12, 2024

Since its launch in late 2019, Apple’s streaming service, Apple TV Plus, has come to be known for offering excellent original programming featuring the biggest names in the business.

Introducing Apple Originals like The Morning Show (Morning Wars in Australia), See, For All Mankind, Servant, and Truth Be Told during its initial run, the service has now over 50 original shows, not to mention dozens of original movies, one of which even won the Oscar for Best Picture (CODA).

While Apple TV Plus’ library doesn’t have hundreds of series and movies, Apple’s take on streaming TV has somewhat been eventful; Apple TV+ is now known as a home for lavish miniseries, dramas, and comedies.

If you’re looking to explore other content, Apple TV+ has got you covered. Offering top-tier originals with the likes of the anthology series Extrapolations with its jaw-dropping star-studded cast or the gripping crime drama Black Bird, there’s plenty of incredible shows you can watch.

Award-winning actress Elisabeth Moss also stars in the heart-pounding thriller Shining Girls, while the science fiction drama, Foundation, also delivers the chills with its big-budget production and inspired storytelling.

For more mystery and intrigue, the psychological thriller Surface is bound to keep you guessing until the final episode. Executive produced by Reese Witherspoon, it stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Oliver Jackson-Cohen.

The service also has some of the best comedy series available, such as the Jason Sudeikis-starrer Ted Lasso, the animated series Central Park, the black comedy Bad Sisters, and the workplace comedy Mythic Quest.

Harrison Ford even steps into the small screen for the second time with the comedy drama Shrinking, starring alongside Jason Segel. For some aerobics-filled comedy, Apple TV+ also has Physical starring Rose Byrne, offering half-hour episodes of engaging fun.

Whatever mood you’re in, there’s something binge-worthy streaming on Apple TV+. We’ve rounded some of the best shows on Apple TV+ you can watch this month.
