Where was the TV show Lost filmed? We’ll tell you.

Find out where the magnificent sets of Lost were captured right here. We also reveal the plot (without spoilers – don’t worry) and show you where to stream this must-see survivor/action series.

Volcanic mountains, lush jungles, secluded beaches — the Lost filming locations are atmospheric and breathtaking, to say the least.

The majority of Lost was filmed in Hawaii, mainly on the Island of Oahu. Iconic landmarks like Byodo Temple and Waialua Sugar Mill make numerous appearances throughout.

Most scenes were shot on the Kualoa Ranch — the same place where Jurassic Park was filmed. Aside from being a stunning filming spot, Kualoa Ranch is also a summer camp for kids.

And guess what: the Sydney Airport is actually the Hawaii Convention Center, also located on the Island of Oahu. Also, a few scenes in the third season were shot in Los Angeles.

Lost: a gripping sci-fi drama that starts with the aftermath of a plane crash on a mysterious island.

Oceanic Flight 815, which was supposed to land in LA, ends up nose-diving on an unknown island with eerie vibes. The longer the survivors hang around on the island, the more strange things they notice.

What starts as a survival story soon unravels to become a mystery as secrets of the island start to surface. Underground hatches, whispers in the jungle, out-of-place polar bears —- it’s clear that something isn’t right.

And to throw even more suspense into the mix, each character has their own complicated past. Jack (Mattew Fox), Kate (Evangeline Lilly), and Locke (Terry O’Quinn) are just a few complex figures in the show.

Alliances are built and crumble as the show goes deeper into secrets and power struggles. And, the question remains throughout: what are the strange forces controlling the island, and will anyone ever escape?
