The story follows a TV reporter and a photographer who find themselves in over their heads while investigating a murder. The performances are solid, and there are scenes that really pop, but I found myself wishing for deeper character development. The rural setting adds a nice touch, creating a sense of isolation that plays well into the narrative. However, there were times when the pacing dragged, which took away from the overall suspense.
