The film dives headfirst into a chaotic world where the Nameless Mercenaries find themselves entangled in a web of betrayal and power struggles. While the animation is undeniably gorgeous, there are moments where the pacing feels off, leaving some plot points underdeveloped. The performances by the voice cast bring a lot of life to Rozé and Ash, making their journey compelling, though I wished for more screen time for supporting characters. The darker themes may not appeal to everyone, and at times, it felt like it was trying too hard to recapture the original's magic.
