Chris Rivers, our protagonist, is on a mission to find his missing friend, but what he stumbles upon is a whole other level of weirdness involving a cult that gives off serious bad vibes. The film does a fantastic job of creating a sense of dread, and the performances are solid, especially from the locals in the village who seem way too happy to be hiding something sinister. While the pacing can drag at times, the visuals are stunning, and the atmosphere is thick with tension.
