★★★★★4/5
Zoey's Extraordinary Christmas serves as a poignant continuation of the beloved television series, diving into themes of grief and familial love. Directed by Richard Shepard, the film captures the essence of the holidays through Zoey's efforts to recreate the magic her father once brought to their celebrations. The performances are heartfelt, particularly from Jane Levy, who portrays Zoey with a perfect blend of vulnerability and determination. The musical numbers are both uplifting and emotionally resonant, adding depth to the narrative. While the film may tread familiar ground, its genuine spirit and warm moments make it a delightful watch for the festive season.

★★★★★3/5
Zoey's Extraordinary Christmas is a festive treat that attempts to blend holiday cheer with emotional depth, but it sometimes feels like it's trying a bit too hard. Jane Levy shines as Zoey, bringing a relatable charm to her character as she navigates her first Christmas without her father. The music is catchy, although some numbers lack the punch needed to truly captivate. While the film has its heart in the right place, certain plot points feel predictable and a bit clichéd. Still, if you're looking for a light-hearted film to watch with the family during the holidays, this one may just hit the spot.
