Robogobo (2025)

Robogobo presents a refreshing take on the animated family film genre, seamlessly blending adventure with heartfelt moments. The narrative follows five lovable pets, each with distinct personalities, who are transformed by their Robo-Suits into unlikely heroes. The direction captures both the whimsy and excitement of their journey while providing meaningful lessons about friendship and family. The voice performances are commendable, bringing each character to life with charm and humour. While the plot may tread familiar ground, its execution is engaging enough to keep audiences entertained. Overall, Robogobo is a delightful film that is likely to resonate with children and parents alike.

Robogobo is a fun ride, but it doesn't quite break new ground. The premise of superhero pets is undeniably adorable, and the animation is bright and vibrant. However, the story feels a bit predictable, with familiar tropes that might leave older audiences wanting more depth. The characters are cute, but they sometimes lack the development needed to make their journeys truly impactful. That said, kids will love the action and the sweet messages about teamwork. If you're looking for a light-hearted film for a family movie night, Robogobo fits the bill, but don't expect a cinematic masterpiece.
