Michelle Wolf: It's Great to Be Here is a mixed bag that showcases both the brilliance and the occasional misstep of its star. Wolf's ability to tackle taboo topics with humour is commendable, but at times, her observations feel more like rants than well-crafted jokes. The special opens strong, with her reflections on nude beaches providing a hilarious entry point. However, as she dives into the more serious subject of gender and violence, the tone shifts, leaving some viewers feeling a bit disoriented. While I appreciate her boldness and willingness to push boundaries, there were moments where the punchlines didn't quite land for me. Nonetheless, fans of her previous work may still find plenty to enjoy. It's a special that sparks conversation, even if it doesn't always hit the mark.
