★★★★★3/5
Furry Friends Forever: Elmo Gets a Puppy is a sweet, if somewhat predictable, journey into the world of pet ownership. The special introduces us to Tango, Elmo's new furry friend, and while it aims to convey important messages about responsibility, it sometimes feels more like a typical children's show rather than a standout addition to the Sesame Street collection. The animation is vibrant, and the characters remain charming, but the plot lacks the depth that older viewers might crave. It's undoubtedly enjoyable for young children, who will likely find Elmo's antics entertaining, yet it may not hold the attention of those seeking more complex storytelling. Still, it serves its purpose well as a family-friendly special, perfect for a light-hearted viewing experience.
