★★★★★4/5
Behind Every Star is a fascinating portrait of the talent management world, directed by Baek Seung-ryong. The narrative artfully balances the demands of celebrity clients with the personal lives of the agents. The performances are commendable, with each actor bringing depth to their roles, particularly the lead agent, who embodies the struggle of ambition versus loyalty. The film's pacing is steady, allowing for character development and emotional moments that resonate well with the audience. The cinematography captures the glitzy yet often chaotic environment of the entertainment industry, enhancing the overall experience. While it may not break new ground, its engaging storytelling and relatable themes make it a film worth watching.

Behind Every Star tries to juggle a lot but ends up feeling a bit scattered. The plot centres around the hectic lives of talent agents, and while there are some genuinely funny moments, it sometimes loses focus on what makes these characters tick. The performances are solid, but I felt some characters were underdeveloped and could have used more depth. The tone fluctuates between comedy and drama, which doesn't always mesh well. It's entertaining enough for a casual watch, but if you're looking for something with more substance, you might want to look elsewhere. Overall, it’s an enjoyable film, just not as impactful as it could be.
