How Oz Lotto works and the odds

Ten numbers are drawn from 47. The first seven are the winning numbers and the last three are the supplementaries. Division 1 needs all seven winning numbers in one game, and its prize is shared between every winner. These are the odds for one game from Lotterywest's games feed, to the nearest whole number.

How the jackpot got to $60 million

Division 1 was last won in draw 1699 on 8 September, when one winner took $8 million. It has not been won in the seven draws since, from 1700 to 1706, and the latest of those, draw 1706 on 27 October, is why the jackpot is now $60 million. Draw 1706's numbers were 8, 13, 21, 34, 36, 40 and 42, with supplementaries 10, 15 and 27.

Where to watch and check the result

On the east coast The Lott shows the draw on 7Two at about 8:30pm AEST (9:30pm AEDT), and on Seven on some occasions. In Western Australia, Lotterywest says live draws with a prize pool over $40 million air on Seven instead of 7Two. Check the Seven and 7Two guides on the night. Lotterywest also posts the draw on its YouTube channel at about 7:30pm Perth time, which is 10:30pm AEDT.

The winning numbers will be on our Oz Lotto results page within minutes of the draw. The same page links to the draw 1707 results, with the division prizes, once the operator publishes them.

The biggest Oz Lotto jackpots

  • 4 February 2025: a $100 million jackpot was won by a single entry, bought online by a woman from Elizabeth Hills in western Sydney. It is the largest Oz Lotto prize won by one entry.
  • 6 November 2012: four winners shared the game's other $100 million jackpot, which Wikipedia puts at a division 1 pool of $111,972,151.04. Lotterywest says that was the last $100 million draw before 2025.

At $60 million, draw 1707 is well short of both.
