The film picks up the story where the first left off, introducing a new bull shark that wreaks havoc in a Texas lake. While the premise is promising, the execution feels lacklustre. The dialogue is often stilted, and the characters are barely fleshed out, making it hard to care about their fates. The pacing drags in parts, and the attempts at building suspense sometimes fall flat. It does have its moments of gore and a few jump scares, but these are not enough to save the film from mediocrity.
