The Last Jedi airing on Disney Plus in Australia

The second instalment of the Star Wars sequel trilogy will be available to stream soon on Australian screens. The Last Jedi reunites Luke Skywalker with his sister Leia as the Republic battle against the First Order, led by Luke’s former understudy turned sith, Kylo Ren.

Now that Rey has finally located the whereabouts of Luke Skywalker, she brings him back to join the battle against the dark forces. But Skywalker sees powers in her, powers unlike anything he has seen before, and he decides to train her in the ways of the Jedi.

In this eighth episode of the Star Wars franchise, we also discover how Luke became the teacher of his nephew, Kylo Ren, and the errors he made which resulted in Kylo turning to the dark side with Snoke, the head of the First Order. Fans of previous films will be pleased to see returning characters such as Chewbacca, R2-D2 and even Yoda, along with lots of lightsaber swinging action.

Starring Daisy Ridley (Silent Witness), John Boyega (Detroit), Mark Hammill (Knightfall), and Pedro Pascal (Ex Macina), The Last Jedi movie arrived in Australia on December.
