Yomojo’s SIM-Only mobile plans have undergone notable changes of late, and the result is a range of improved plans that offer a whole lot of value. Mostly powered by the Optus 4G Plus Network and with the ability to bundle multiple plans into a single family bundle, Yomojo makes it easy to get what you need without breaking the bank.
Yomojo Mobile Review
Yomojo started out with a different approach by giving customers the chance to completely customise their mobile plans’ text, data and voice. It was certainly a unique approach but it wasn’t for everyone, and at times over-complicated what should be a simple process.
That’s why Yomojo mobile adapted to the conventional mobile plan setting, and now, finding a plan that works for you is more straightforward than ever. Yomojo’s strength not only comes from their varied SIM-only plans that pack serious value. With their Family Bundles, they place a strong emphasis on mobile offerings that are perfect for every family. These are cheap, unlimited plans made more affordable with monthly discounts when you bundle multiple services.
Yomojo Mobile Highlights
What Makes Yomojo Mobile Unique?
Having made a return to conventional mobile plans, Yomojo’s offerings more closely resemble those you can find with other providers. Perhaps the most notable point of difference, however, is the ability to choose Family Bundles. With a Family Bundle plan, customers can choose up to six lines or family members to include.
Signing up for this bundle plan means getting discounts of up to 15% on your monthly bill. And it’s flexible, too, because each member can choose a different plan that suit their individual needs. The total savings you can get depends on the number of lines — 5% discount for 2 lines, 7.5% for 3, all the way up to 15% for 6 lines — and the combination of plans chosen, meaning the bigger your family, the more you’ll save!
What are Yomojo’s Key Features?
Does Yomojo offer SIM Only Plans?
Yomojo Mobile offers six different SIM Only Plans, with the primary difference between them being the amount of data they each offer. For just $9.90/30 days, you can get the smallest data plan – known as the Kids Plan – which includes 200 minutes of calls and unlimited text, as well as 1GB of data. The rest of the plans all offer unlimited calls and texts to standard numbers in Australia, starting at $15.90 for 2GB of data and going all the way up to a huge 90GB at $89.90 per 30 days.

Does Yomojo offer Unlimited Calls and Texts?
With the exception of the Kids Plan – which gives you unlimited texts and 200 minutes of calls – all of Yomojo’s plans will give you unlimited calls to Australian mobile, as well as unlimited SMS to all Australian numbers. There’s also free Yomojo-to-Yomojo call minutes to easily connect with friends and family.
Does Yomojo offer Data-Only Plans?
As one’s data requirements aren’t limited to a single device, Yomojo’s data-only plans make for an affordable option. If you’re not much of a data user and only need an extra for the occasional emails and social media, the cheapest $15.90 plan with 3GB data is a good start. Data allowances then go higher up to 70GB at $85.90/30 days. Whether you’re a conscious data user or spend much of it streaming on the go, Yomojo has something for what you require.

Does Yomojo offer Home Wireless Broadband?
This year, Yomojo launched their own Home Wireless Broadband. Serving as a convenient alternative to fixed internet, you can get connected without the hassles of installation and the wait time it entails. Signing up for the new Home Wireless Broadband gives you 250GB of data with no lock-in contract. At only $44.90 per month, this makes for a really cheap option when compared to what the bigger telcos offer. And since it runs on the Optus 4G Plus network, coverage is extensive and the network is reliably fast.
Which Network does Yomojo operate on?
With the exception of the highest mobile plan, which utilise the Optus 3G network, all Yomojo Mobile plans give you access to the acclaimed Optus 4G Plus Network. Optus’ fastest network ever, 4G Plus covers 96.5% of Australians, meaning you’ll have fast and reliable coverage across the vast majority of the country.
Yomojo Makes it Easier to Save with Family Bundles
If you’re a big family, Yomojo Mobile has made it easier than ever to save with the addition of Family Bundles to their plan options. You can add up to six SIMs to these plans, and with each SIM that you add you’ll save a little bit more. What’s more, you can still personalise each individual’s plan to suit the varying needs of different family members. The more you spend, the more you save, meaning big families, particularly those with heavy data users, can save a lot of money using these bundles.
Yomojo Family Eye
Yomojo Mobile makes it easier to keep an eye on your children’s online habits with Family Eye. Family Eye, which allows you to monitor what your child is looking at as well as manage their social media usage, can be added onto any plan for just $5/month. If you’re not sure if Family Eye is for you, you can try it for free with Yomojo Mobile for the first three months. Alternatively, you can also try it free for 1 month even without subscribing to any Yomojo mobile plan.
If you have family or friends living abroad, you can also get international voice add-ons to your Yomojo Mobile plan, making it easier for you to stay connected.
