The 2020 AFL restarts on June 11th. With the competition as close as it has ever been, it is sure to be compelling viewing. For those who will be travelling outside of Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands during this time, there is still an easy and affordable way to catch all of the action live and uninterrupted.
Whether it’s for work, pleasure or to visit relatives, travelling overseas during the AFL season is sure to make plenty of football fans feel a little anxious. Well thanks to Watch AFL, there’s no need to worry any longer!
AFL 2020 season Preview
The 2020 AFL season will return as Richmond Tigers look to make it back-to-back Grand Final wins. The season has been reduced to 17 rounds instead of the usual 23 due to the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak, and the postponements it has caused to sporting events worldwide. Good news is no matter where you are, you’ll be able to watch and stream key games live to any number of mobile devices.
There are three teams looking capable of taking the title away from the Tigers in 2020. Greater Western Sydney will be looking to go one step further after last year’s Grand Final defeat, whilst the likes of Collingwood and West Coast Eagles boast squads packed full of big game players hungry for finals glory. It certainly looks like being an exceptional season in more ways than one, and seeing just which side adjusts and performs straight out of the blocks will be compelling viewing.

What Makes Watch AFL Unique?
Watch AFL, the streaming service from Fox Sports, allows footy fans outside of Australia to watch every minute of every game LIVE and ad-free, as well as providing access to all of the most important AFL shows. The service can be paid for either weekly, yearly, or you can simply buy a finals series pass meaning you can tailor your subscription to suit your needs. If you only need access during the finals series, the finals series pass is a great value option.
Once subscribed, you’ll be in footy fan heaven, with the ability to watch the AFL Finals LIVE or on replay, as well as pause and rewind as you please. Fans can also switch off spoilers, meaning you can easily watch games on delay without seeing the scores. Outside of the games themselves, all of the FOX Footy channel’s best shows, including AFL 360 and On the Couch, will be available for viewing as soon as they’ve finished airing in Australia.
