Which Australian Pay TV and Video On Demand Services Include Closed Captioning?
Closed captions are available on some Pay TV and Video On Demand Services. Pay TV leads the way with Foxtel featuring closed captions on 72 of its channels. The Video On Demand providers are still catching up with with Netflix including closed captioning on nearly 100% of their content, and Stan not far behind.
Closed Captioning on Foxtel
You can access over 300,000 hours of closed captioned programs each year on Foxtel in over 90 channels, including time-shift and HD channels, over a range of genres. This service is available for both live TV and on recordings.
Foxtel Now does not currently support closed captions.

Closed Captions on Fetch TV
Many Fetch TV Channels include a proportion of programmes which are Closed Captioned (CC) enabled. This includes 20 Free to air channels and 14 Subscription TV channels.
