Are you familiar with the whole Johnny Depp vs Barnaby Joyce debacle? Well, John Oliver got wind of it and decided to devote a few minutes of its popular show Last Week Tonight to poke fun at the Minister for Agriculture. Watch the hilarious video below.

Barnaby Joyce threatened to euthanise Johnny Depp’s dogs after the actor bypassed the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service to bring them into the country. As a side note, Depp is in Australia to film the fifth instalment of the Pirates movies, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

John Oliver covered the story in the latest episode of Last Week Tonight, poking fun not only at the Minister for Agriculture, but basically at the entire country. He even goes so far as to threaten the life of an adorable koala bear if we don’t get everything Australian out of the US.
