Telstra upgraded the service it offers with increased data limits and the inclusion of the Foxtel Go app in some bundles. These upgrades will be available alongside with the launch of its new phone, broadband and entertainment bundles.
Consumers can get these packages in two groups of bundles. The legacy Communications Bundles including the home phone and broadband are now replaced by the Home Bundles. The Entertainment Super package replaced the Entertainer Bundles which includes broadband, home phone and entertainment. This new package also comes with 11Foxtelor a new Entertainer Supreme platinum foxtel package with Foxtel from Telstra which features more than 90 channels.
The telco has repackaged its bundles with new names and by adding more features on them. One of the new features includes lowering the call cap on standard Australian mobile calls from $3 to $2 and offering a free set top box for new customers.
The Home and Entertainer Bundles come in four sizes: S (10GB Broadband), M (100GB), L (200GB) and XL (500GB). The S bundle which is formerly the Telstra Essential now has a data limit of 10GB (up from its former maximum limit of 5GB).
Telstra now includes the Foxtel Go app in its Entertainer Bundles to meet the needs of its content-hungry customers. This means users can watch content on their smartphone, tablet or desktop PC.
According to Telstra’s spokesperson these new bundles will give customers the ability to create more TV screens in their homes with the inclusion of Foxtel Go to a number of entertainer bundles. But at the same time, they can still enjoy the high quality services they love in home phone and broadband.
