Quickflix Now on Xbox One

Quickflix Now on Xbox One – Watch TV and Movies on your Xbox

The Xbox One games console has been launched by the Australian subscription VoD service Quickflix.Users of the latest version of Microsoft’s device can now have access to both standard and high-definition TV series and movies through the Quickflix app. This service has already been available to users of the older Xbox 360 since 2012.

Quickflix now looks to be heading on its road to recovery after a couple of years of disappointing performance. Last month, it reported rising subscribers and revenues after it inked new licensing deals with NBCUniversal and BBC Worldwide. This company has also received investment from Time Warner’s HBO in the past.

Sony’s PlayStation 3 and 4 consoles also feature this Video on Demand service. However, it is facing tough competition from Foxtel’s Presto which was launched in March and the possibility of Netflix finally becoming officially available in Australia.
