The US drama Aquarius, which Australians had the chance to exclusively binge-watch on Presto, was renewed for a second season. The series follows David Duchovny as a cop who goes undercover to track Charles Manson.
The renewal doesn’t come as much as a surprise since NBC, the US network that green-lit Aquarius, had enough faith in the series to release its first entire season online, highlighting the fact that the way people watch television is evolving.
The entire first season of Aquarius was available to stream on Presto until June 25. For those who missed their chance, as of Thursday June 25 only episodes 1 – 6 of Aquarius will remain onsite, with the remaining episodes (7-13) being released weekly on Friday afternoons at 3:00 pm. The episodes are re-released in line with the US broadcast, with the finale scheduled to be broadcasted Friday, August 14.
