Streaming service Presto has just inked a deal with 20th Century Fox, thus upping its TV content by 20 percent. TV junkies will be able to stream popular US shows like Modern Family, Homeland, and American Horror Story, but also enjoy cult classics such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer and The X Files.
The deal adds 1000 hours of TV to Presto’s current offering, giving TV enthusiasts the chance to binge-watch shows like Modern Family (the first four seasons), the drama/thriller Homeland, Sons of Anarchy, American Horror Story, The Americans, and Glee. Besides these US hits, subscribers will also be able to reminisce about the good old days by watching some beloved TV classics, including The X Files, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Roswell.
Presto’s acquisition of Fox television content is a good move, especially since the streaming service is likely making big strides to be in the best shape possible for the arrival rival Netflix Australia next week. Moreover, Presto is currently offering a 30 day free trial of its TV and movies bundle with no strings attached.
