Earlier in the week, Foxtel had also announced that they have launched new Broadband
and Home Phone bundles, hoping to assure customers that their combined subscriptions are more than worth the price tag.
Director of Presto and On Demand Shaun James commented: “Presto subscribers are passionate about entertainment and enjoy bingeing on their favourite shows. The massive volume of hours viewed each week is testament to Presto’s popularity and today we’re thrilled to confirm that Foxtel Broadband subscribers can now indulge all they want on the programs they love free from data limits.”
Presto TV was recently launched by the company and brings a selection of 1000s of hours of advertisement-free television shows to consumers in America for the price of $9.99/month.
Those who also enjoy Presto Movies can bundle the two together for $14.99/month with no ongoing commitment, and now Foxtel Broadband subscribers also get no data download services as part of that deal.
Offering HBO programming such as True Blood, Deadwood, The Sopranos and The Wire, Presto TV is a standalone SVOD service like none other on the market, with SHOWTIME original series also available from CBS International.
They include Nurse Jackie, Dexter, The Borgias and more, with further new seasons on the way.
