Watch the Trailer for Between, Netflix’s New Teen Thriller

The trailer for Between, Netflix’s latest original series, just hit the Internet, and it promises  a grim and captivating viewing experience. However, here’s the bad news: you won’t be able to binge-watch it, as this is the first Netflix show that will be released on a one-episode-per-week basis.

Streaming giant Netflix has just released the trailer for their next original series Between, coming from 24 producer Jon Cassar and starring Jennette McCurdy (iCarly). The premise of the new show is particularly interesting. A mysterious plague is killing everyone over age 21 in Pretty Lake. Quarantined and afraid those left must survive without help, a cure, or adults.

Here’s the kicker though: this is the first Netflix series that you won’t be able to binge-watch. Between will be released just like any other TV series, with one episode per week. The show is a Canadian production, and it will be broadcast weekly in Canada on the City network, after which the new episode be available on Netflix globally.

Between is set to premiere on May 21. The first season will consists of six one-hour episodes, scheduled to air every Thursday.
