New on Netflix in September: Longmire Season 4, Six Years, and More!

Netflix in September

Netflix has plenty of surprises for its subscribers this month. Season 4 of modern Western drama Longmire will drop on the streaming giant this September, along with some highly anticipated movies and interesting documentary features. Here’s a quick look at what you should watch on Netflix this month.

When it comes to original content, Netflix is releasing season 4 of Longmire, the modern western that took the world by storm, on September 10. The ex-A&E drama was saved from cancellation by the streaming giant and fans will be able to enjoy a 10-episode fourth season. Since season three ended with quite a few cliffhangers, we’re eager to catch up with the characters and see where things head up next.

Also on the original content front, Netflix will release Keith Richards: Under the Influence, a new documentary about the Rolling Stones guitarist on September 18, and season 1 of animated series VeggieTales in the House on September 25.

The streaming service has some exclusive content lined up as well. 6 Years, a heartwarming indie tale about love, will be available exclusively on Netflix starting September 8, and Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret, the environmental film that environmental organizations don’t want you to see, will hit Netflix on September 15.
