Moose launches Cheapest Mobile Plan on the Planet?
Don’t spend a lot of time glued to your phone? Then you shouldn’t pay a fortune to simply have your service up and running. Moose Mobile just launched a fabulous plan aimed at sparse smartphone users. For only $8/month, the plan offers basic inclusions, but compensates with unlimited national and international texts.
The new Moose Mobile plan costs $8/month and comes with 200 minutes of calls to standard mobiles, landlines, 13/1300 and 1800 numbers. You also get unlimited voicemail. The plan includes 500MB data as well – certainly not a lot for avid data users, but enough to cover you in case you want to check e-mail every now and then or perform a Google check. Last but not least, $8 also buys you unlimited national and international texts (SMS/MMS) from Australia. If you have loved ones you like to text overseas, the plan is basically a bargain.
At first sight, this cheap Moose offering would work particularly well for kids or teens who don’t spend a lot of time online, for seniors, and for those who prefer to be called rather than make the calls themselves. For only $8/month, the inclusions are pretty amazing. Check out the offer here.
Of course, Moose Mobile offers a variety of plans to cater to all types of consumers. From the Moose14 plan, which costs $14/month, and up, all plans come with unlimited calls/texts. Only the amount of data varies – from 1GB for Moose14 to a whooping 10GB for $34/month. The telco also offers 30GB for $49 and 90GB for $78. However, these two plans are limited to the Optus 3G network. The other plans use the Optus 3G/4G network. The $34 plan also brings you $300 international credit. Data plans are available as well – from 1.5GB for $12/month to 70GB for $78/month.
