2017 W-League Grand Final Live Stream and City v Perth on Air TV Guide

W League Free to air TV Times

The 2017 Westfield W-League has been a great success this season, and it all concludes this Sunday with the Grand Final between Melbourne City FC and the Perth Glory.

Melbourne City has regained their poise and are the defending champs, while Perth Glory are not lacking for confidence, having played City as close as it gets in their only match of the season, and you can watch every minute of the action on a standard or HD TV, or stream this match live to an eligible mobile device with a Free Trial.

2017 W-League Grand Final Preview

These two sides have met just once this season, with the match being held on December 27, when the Perth Glory were victorious 3-2, thanks to an 84th minute winner from their captain Samantha Kerr, her second goal of the game. Kerr is the player to watch, because if she produces another brilliant game, she’ll be hard to ignore for a spot in the national side, the Matildas.

Melbourne City, the reigning A League champs, will enter the Final the underdogs, having finished fourth on the ladder, as their offence struggled to score in some of the most crucial contests. Last year was a different story, when City went through the entire season unbeaten in an historic effort. They have won the title on two previous occasions and are looking to become the first side in W-League history to win three titles.

The Perth Glory earned their spot thanks to a gritty 5-1 win over Sydney FC in the Semi Final last week, with a tremendous game courtesy of Vanessa DiBernardo, who originally came on loan from the Chicago Red Stars. They finished second in the standings, although tied with Canberra, but showed they can compete with their rivals with a one goal victory during the season.

It will be intriguing to see how they handle this big game with a pair of midfielders on loan from the Chicago Red Stars, the aforementioned DiBernardo and young gun Alyssa Mautz. They will be tested, but if momentum is any indication look for the Glory to continue their winning ways.
