2015 World Series Live and Free to Air TV ScheduleThe American and National League champions have been decided, and now the two best sides in baseball will meet in the 2015 World Series when the New York Mets go against the Kansas City Royals.

It’s been a long time between drinks for both sides, so this World Series will be a fascinating contest for Major League Baseball followers and their respective fan bases, and you need not miss a minute of the excitement watching live on a standard or HD TV, or streaming the games to a mobile or internet connected device with a Free trial.

2015 World Series Preview

It has been nearly 30 years since either side has won the World Series, so both fan bases are extremely excited for this match-up. Kansas City made it to the Series last year, but lost the seventh and deciding game by the closest of margins, when stranding the tying run on third base with two out in the ninth. The Mets will travel for the first two games of the Series as they head to Kansas City to take on the Royals, before returning to New York for three games at home.

New York advanced to the World Series after smashing the Chicago Cubs 4 games to 0 in the National League playoffs, and were very convincing in the clincher, winning 8-3 to have their first crack at a World Series title since 1986. The Mets travel to Kansas City for the first two games of the Series, before returning to New York for three games at home. New York will be looking for at least a split of the two games in the Royals ballpark, which would swing home field advantage back to their side.

Kansas City won the American League playoffs, but they had to battle for their World Series spot. They won their series against the Toronto Blue Jays 4 games to 2, and looked in serious trouble early on in Game 6, but they eventually came through to win that game 4-3. They are aiming for their first World Championship since 1985, and a sweep in the first two games at home would go along way toward that goal.

New York Mets v Kansas City Royals Review

The Mets swept the Chicago Cubs in the National League playoffs, winning 4-0 to comfortably advance to the World Series. Daniel Murphy was the star once again. He created history by becoming the first player to hit at least one home run in six consecutive post season games. He will be absolutely crucial, in particular the first two games when they are playing in front of the other team’s faithful, but don‘t look for the NY Mets v KC Royals on Free to Air in Australia.

Kansas City lost the 2014 World Series in heartbreaking fashion against the San Francisco Giants. That really spurred the side on for this season, and they are back in the World Series and looking to go one better. The Game 6 win against Toronto was led by Ben Zobrist and Mike Moustakas, who both hit home runs to give the Royals an early 2-0 lead and despite some intense moments, they clung on for a 4-3 victory and a 4-2 Series win.
