Watch Peter Dinklage Sing About all Those Memorable Game of Thrones Deaths

Game of Thrones doesn’t have to be all violence and scheming – it can be funny and jazzy as well. Or at least that’s what Peter Dinklage is trying to prove with this short Game of Thrones musical number, a sketch made for United States’ first ever Red Nose Day.

In the video, Peter Dinklage, who plays Tyrion Lannister in the hit HBO series, sings about the various characters who already bit the dust in the show, emphasizing the fact that he’s still going strong. That’s mostly thanks to the character’s quick thinking and unique ability to talk himself out of immediate danger, as we could easily notice in the latest Game of Thrones episode, Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken.  Coldplay is responsible for the music, while Dinklage is accompanied by a house band and a duo of back-up singers.

Tyrion’s musical number is meant as a teaser for Game of Thrones: The Musical, a Red Nose Day special that will also feature other cast members. The benefit concert airs live in the US on NBC on May 21. You can learn more about the fundraising event on its website.
