Bernard Hopkins vs. Kovalev Pay Per View Preview and Show Times

In what is being dubbed as potentially one of the best nights in recent Boxing history, the ageless Bernard Hopkins will take on Sergey Kovalev in the US on November 24 for the Light Heavyweight title.

It will be a clash of the class and craft of Hopkins against the brutal power and animal-like mentality, with Kovalev looking to become the first person to knockout the near fifty year-old Hopkins. Kovalev has won 25 of his 26 fights, 23 by KO. In nearly all bouts, he has won before six rounds and has only gone as far as eight rounds.

This bout is make or break for Hopkins in terms of furthering his career. The experts are divided as to who will win this match. A win for Hopkins and he’ll become one of the all time greats, if he isn’t already. However, a loss and retirement is on the cards for the man who has won 55 of his 63 fights.

In a recent interview, the thirty-one year old Kovalev only has one thing on his mind- win at all costs.

“I am going in to the ring and get my victory at all cost”, he said. “If I need to fight, I will fight. If I need to box, I will box. This is a fight. I am going into this and fight like a street fight. I’m going to kick his butt because he is my opponent.”

And with words like that, you’d be mad not to be glued to your box for what should be a fight for the ages.
