Boost Mobile Offers More Data, but Which Users Benefit?
Boost Mobile Offers More Data, But There’s a Twist
Boost Mobile has recently increased the amount of data available on its prepaid SIM-only plans, but the add-on comes with strings attached. The telco shaved time off its expiry, so they’re now only offering 28-day expiry plans. Clients will basically pay more over a year in terms of recharges. However, if you’re a heavy mobile data user, this isn’t so bad.
Boost Mobile mainly targets the youth market, so it makes sense they’re offering more data on their plans. Data allowance on their plans has grown from 2GB to 5GB and from 5GB to 8GB, giving heavy data users something to cheer for. However, the new plans also come with a 28-day expiry data, so customers will need to recharge their phone more often.
Here’s what’s currently in store:
For $35/month, you get 5GB of data (from 2GB)
For $45/month, you get 8GB of data (from 5GB)
For $60/month you get unlimited data
All plans come with unlimited talk and text, unlimited music streaming, and optional add-ons. If you can set up automatic payments, each plan above becomes $5 cheaper. If interested visit the Boost contact centre for more details.
