The Masked Singer Australia Is Off to a Great Start on Network Ten
Based on the hit South Korean music gameshow series, The Masked Singer Australia made its debut last Monday on Network Ten with a whopping 1,162,000 viewers. It follows the same premise where celebrities perform wearing a costume and are unmasked if they lose. The Australian version of the show is hosted by Osher Gunsberg and features celebrity judges that include Lindsay Lohan, singer Dannii Minogue, comedian Dave Hughes, and radio presenter Jackie O.
On its second night last night, the show still managed to hit the million mark with 1,054,000 for overnight TV ratings, leaving behind The Block that only managed to earn 816,000 viewers for its Tuesday night airing. With such strong debut, this new reality show is well poised to take the lead on free to air ratings and could spell out another win for Network Ten, which saw major success with another hit reality show earlier this year, MasterChef Australia.

2019 Rugby World Cup Coverage Scores Big for Tuesday Evening
Aussies have been tuning in to live coverage of the 2019 Rugby World Cup and it clearly shows with consistent viewer ratings for Fox Sports. Yesterday’s match between Russia and Samoa saw 59,000 viewers tuning in, which pretty much tied in with last Monday’s match between Wales and Georgia. Other shows that topped last night’s ratings include hit lifesyle shows like Selling Houses Australia and Bargain Hunt, plus reruns of classics like Blue Bloods and Family Guy.
