Sir David Attenborough’s Seven Worlds, One Planet Once Again Leads Overnight TV Ratings on Free to Air

Seven Worlds, One Planet is a documentary series from the BBC Natural History Unit. It debuted on 27 October 2019 and is narrated and presented by naturalist Sir David Attenborough. Over 1,500 people worked on the series, which was filmed over 1,794 days, with 92 shoots across 41 different countries.

The first part of this special aired on Channel Nine last Wednesday with an impressive 772,000 viewers across the 5-city metro for overnight TV ratings. Last night, the second part only saw 595,000 viewers, which caused this David Attenborough special lose its place from the top 5 shows on free to air. Other notable contenders for Thursday evening included Seven’s coverage of the First Test match between Australia and Pakistan, which saw 474,000 viewers tuning in.
