Foxtel’s Sports HD pack is the best plan for those looking to get more out of your Foxtel experience. With this plan, you can catch the latest in drama as well as get a front-row seat to every second of Tri Nations Rugby, MotoGP, and so much more. Everything you need to enjoy is all in crisp high definition.
Why should I get Foxtel’s Sports HD Pack?
While Australia is a nation of unashamed sports fans, for many people that’s just one reason they turn on the TV and get settled in on the couch. We’re in one of the best times in history for TV drama, and some of the most acclaimed come from legendary US network HBO – including, of course, Game of Thrones, which wrapped up its epic eighth and final season in front of millions of viewers.
The name says it all here – Foxtel’s Sports HD pack gives you the very best of premium live sport alongside the premium drama channels you can’t get anywhere else – all of it in HD and joined by a huge range of other entertainment channels for a total of 67.
What are the Top Sports and Shows on Foxtel?
This plan gives you the best of both worlds, letting you keep up to the second with live global coverage of the latest sports. Quality on-demand content of some other sports you want to relive, while not missing a moment of the drama and entertainment everyone’s talking about makes it more fun. Take a look at some of the best on offer below:
How Much Does Foxtel Sports HD cost?
Considering the sheer amount of content on offer in this comprehensive pack, the price is something that’ll surprise you – only $74 per month on a 12-month contract. Plus, there’s no setup charges, equipment fees, or installation fees to worry about if you lock it in for 12 months – $74/month is all you’ll pay. You’ll also score monthly discounts depending on any ongoing promotions. Currently, they’re offering all 12-month packages free for the first month. Foxtel also offers TV plans with no lock-in contract, however, there are upfront costs amounting to $250 ($150 iQ4 box fee and $100 professional install fee).
But before you head straight for the “buy” button, it’s worth checking out the alternative – Foxtel from Telstra. The name says exactly what is is – full-fat Foxtel complete with the iQ4 box, but billed through Telstra (and therefore really handy if you already have other Telstra services – it can just be bundled onto your monthly bill).
Foxtel from Telstra’s Sports HD + Foxtel Plus pack is priced lower than Foxtel’s (for the first 12 months only), at $50 per month. But what sets Foxtel from Telstra apart is their lack of a lock-in contract – if you change your mind, you can cancel at any time (you’ll just have to pay the balance of the equipment fee that was waived). The lack of lock-in also gives you the freedom to experiment with other plans and packages – for example, you might decide to bump up to the all-included Platinum HD pack for only $99, or drop back to just Foxtel Plus for the bargain price of $49. Options are good, and Foxtel From Telstra gives you more of them – always a good thing.
