Confirmed Times

What does Confirmed Times mean?

After the overnight ratings come out each morning, TV networks are required to send OzTAM a list of the actual broadcast times of each show for the previous day, so that shows that started or finished late can be properly accounted for. If a new show that aired right after a popular one gets unexpectedly high overnight viewer numbers, the adjusted TV ratings with confirmed times will be the ones to check for the real picture.
